Key requirements:
As a field service engineer you will be working as part of a team, however you will find yourself working on your own on a regular basis, starting from home most days with your days appointments scheduled in advance.
The work carried out includes preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown cover and scheduled repairs, you will need to be self reliant (though support is only a phone call away) and self motivated in order to provide the best possible service to our varied clients.
Responsibilities
• To carry out annual boiler inspection and SAFed GN4 preparation work, burner servicing and boiler water safety checks
• Response to emergency beakdown calls as they arise
• Complete a daily report on each job carried out, stating number of hours spent on site and securing the clients signature
• Commissioning of new boiler and burner plant
• Promote the sale of spares where ever possible
Requirements
You must have the following as a minimum:
• 5 years recent experience working on commercial and industrial steam and hot water boilers
• Gas Safe ACS qualifications (industrial)
• Proven ability on commissioning and servicing a range of burners
• Proven experience of digital control systems
• A sound electrical background
• A working knowledge of valves, pumps and joints
• Good communication skills dealing with colleagues and customers

An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Development and Design (UK) team within the Technical Department. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for the day to day running of the engineer team and projects ensuring that the highest level of customer service and quality is delivered at all times while ensuring works are delivered within budget. Your time will be split between time on the road visiting clients, engineers, attending site meetings etc and from the Hertfordshire office in St Albans as required. A successful and growing events company Hampshire are recruiting for two experienced PHP developers to work within our busy development team, producing complex, bespoke event registration websites and sophisticated web based tools. Ideally the candidates will have event industry exposure and/or have worked within an agency environment. The candidates will develop, support and enhance an existing PHP 5 / MVC / Oracle framework that is used to generate client websites; as well developing associated toolsets, functionality and innovative technology solutions that support and enhance our client’s events. The role will be made up of a mix of developing business logic & functionality, SQL database programming, intuitive user interfaces and general all round system development. Any experience of Linux, Apache and PHP system administration, although not required, would be a bonus. These roles require the candidates to work closely with their development colleagues, internal project teams and occasionally directly with clients.
